Halloween Costumes – Please wear your Halloween costumes on Friday. A reminder that students are not permitted to bring weapons or masks to school, even if it is part of their costume.
Pumpkin Carving Contest – We are inviting students to enter the pumpkin carving contest this year. The categories are Scariest, Funniest, Most Original and Stencilled. Please bring your jack-o-lantern to the Gym first thing in the morning to set them on the benches on the stage. Please label your jack-o-lantern with your name and division.
SQX Dance Program is coming to teach Division 1 to 6 some new dance moves on Friday morning and Monday afternoon. Students are asked to wear comfortable long-sleeved shirts or sweaters, pants, runners or other comfortable closed-toe shoes. Please no tank-tops, shorts or skirts. Students should bring a water bottle to avoid long waits at water fountains. All classes will be dancing at the same time, but in different areas of the school. These classes can change into their Halloween costumes at lunch to participate in the Halloween Parade.

Message from the PAC about the Christmas Craft Fair on November 8th:
The Annual Sullivan Elementary Christmas Craft Fair is fast approaching! It is going to be held on Sunday, November 8th at the Sullivan Hall (6306 152nd Street). The fair hours are 10am – 4pm, and we need lots of volunteers to make this event a success.
In the past we have sent home a form to request volunteers, but as we are trying to get away from so much paper, we are trying a new volunteer sign up website. If you are able to volunteer for any of the needed positions, click on the appropriate link and follow the directions to sign up. If you have any questions, please feel free to email Heather at email@example.com.
1. We need volunteers to hand out flyers to homes in the surrounding neighbourhoods. The flyers will be available to volunteers on Thursday & Friday (Oct 29 & 30) at the school. You will be assigned an area and given the approximate amount of flyers necessary. We ask that all flyers be handed out on the weekend of Oct 31 – Nov 1.
PLEASE CLICK on the following link to volunteer for the flyer distribution:
2. We also need volunteers to work the event on Sunday, November 8th. We need a variety of people for set up, concession, raffle ticket sales, popcorn sales, and clean up. Each volunteer sign up is for a one-hour period. If you are able to help us out, please click on the following link. It will bring up a sheet with all of the different areas and time periods listed. Choose the one(s) that you are able to work, click on the area under sign up, and then fill out the contact information.
