Today was an exciting day at school! We had our fall pancake breakfast, Global Cardboard Challenge and the Turkey Trot this afternoon. Zarian R was the winner of the turkey, generously donated by Mrs. Bose from Bose Farms. Thank you, Mrs. Bose! Thank you to the parents that came out and helped today with the breakfast and the run. Monday – Thanksgiving Holiday
Tuesday – Cross Country Meet at Crescent Park after school, Mad Science after school in the Library, Boys Soccer practice after school
Wednesday – Stand By Me presentation for Grades 3 – 7 after recess, Cross Country practice after school, Bricks 4 Kids after school in the Library
Thursday – Great BC Shake Out Earthquake drill after recess, Boys Soccer Playday at Goldstone in the afternoon
Friday – Hot Lunch, Cross Country practice after school
The notice for the Turkey Trot comes home today. Please sign and have your child bring it back to school so they can join us on the run. Again, we will need parent helpers to run with us and help stand along the route and control traffic. Thank you to all the parents that came out last time to keep us safe!
We are reminding parents to not send any nut products to school with your child. We have severe allergies at our school and don’t want to put anyone’s health at risk.
Also, a reminder to please make sure your your child’s student contact form, media release and internet use forms have been returned as well as the $5 for the planner.
Tuesday – Gr 6 Hep B shot, Mad Science after school in the Library
Wednesday – Walk to School Wednesday, popcorn and licorice, Bricks 4 Kids after school in the Library, Meet the Teacher night 5:30pm in the gym and 6-7pm visit your child’s classroom, Gr 7 parent meeting about camp in Mr. Mullen’s room at 7pm
Friday – PAC pancake breakfast at 7:30am in the Gym, Global Cardboard Challenge in the morning so send your child to school with cardboard, recycled materials and their imagination and they will create something, joining students around the world. More information on the Global Cardboard Challenge can be found on their website, Turkey Trot 1pm, Div 11 & 12 visit the pumpkin patch in the afternoon

Monday – No school
Tuesday – Cross Country meet after school at Crescent Park
Wednesday – popcorn and licorice, Cross Country practice after school

Friday – Cross Country practice after school
Cross Country practices started today after school. It runs for 5 weeks – ending October 20th.
Practices are Monday, Wednesday and Friday right after school for approximately 15 minutes
Meets are held at Crescent Park on Tuesdays after school starting next week
Mr. Mullen has the form to sign up. Have your child see him or come join us on our next practice on Wednesday, September 23. Parents are encouraged to practice with us too!
