Shape of the Week for September 12-16

Important Water Update:  We now have two Water Bottle Filling Stations (one downstairs and one on the main floor) as well as as a filter attached to the PAC kitchen sink and the Staff room sink.  We continue to flush the system as a precaution until the water is tested again following the improvements.  Again we thank you for your patience as we work together to ensure clean and safe drinking water.

Important Safety Reminder for Drop off and Pick up:  Please remember to drive very slowly when driving up the lane behind the school.  Children and parents are crossing at the gate and there have been unsafe situations when parents are driving over 10 km an hour.

Orange Shirt orders due into office todayevery-child-matters

The annual Orange Shirt Day on September 30th opens the door to global conversation on all aspects of Residential Schools. It is an opportunity to create meaningful discussion about the effects of Residential Schools and the legacy they have left behind.  A discussion all Canadians can tune into and create bridges with each other for reconciliation.  A day for survivors to be reaffirmed that they matter, and so do those that have been affected.  Every Child Matters, even if they are an adult, from now on.
