I would like to welcome our new crossing guard, Ms. Marion Anderson, as our previous crossing guard, Ms. Caroline Friesen, was injured on the job last week and is taking some time off to recover. As a school community we would like to say good-bye to Ms. Friesen and wish her all the best in her recovery. There will be a box on the office counter if you want to drop off a card or a donation to go towards a gift from our school community.
I would like to take this opportunity to remind all parents and caregivers to use caution when driving or walking to school. 152 Street is a very busy road and it is getting busier with the new developments being built. The school and parents are working together with the City to recommend additional traffic safety measures be implemented at our intersection and it is currently being reassessed.
CANUCKS TICKETS ARE BEING RAFFLED OFF THIS WEEK AT SCHOOL!!
The PAC has received a generous donation of a set of 4 Canucks tickets to the upcoming December 7th game against the Sabres.
We will be selling raffle tickets before and after school all week (Tuesday November 24th until Friday, November 27th) out of the portable P111 and the caged area at the back of the school.
Tickets only cost $2 each, and the winner will be announced at the assembly on Monday, November 30th.
The more tickets you buy, the better chance you have of winning! Good Luck!!
